Why is Math.round(-4.5) equal to -4?
Short answer. A half always rounds up, towards the bigger number.
Which method always goes down?
Math.floor.

Minus four point five. Three methods, three answers. On a number line, ceil goes up to minus four. Floor goes down to minus five. Round takes the half up, to minus four. Remember. Ceil up, floor down. Round to nearest.
