Why does my queue say full when cells are empty?
Short answer. The rear reached the last index, but the cells behind the front are unused. A circular queue fixes that.
What is a deque?
A double ended queue, where you can insert and delete at both ends.
Remember

Your queue says full, but the first cells are empty. Why? A circular queue wraps the rear back to zero. A deque, or double ended queue, uses both ends. Remember. Circular uses r plus one, modulus size. A deque uses both ends.
